Clear Brushing Flowcoat / Topcoat
Description: Clear standard brushing polyester flowcoat.
Intended Use: Designed as a clear or pigmentable general purpose topcoat for use in GRP constructions to
hide fibre from lamination and generally improve appearance.
Characteristics: Suitable for application by brush or roller to give a tack free film. Can be used clear or
pigmented, compatible with Llewellyn Ryland Polyester Colour Pastes.
Application: Laminate surfaces may need abrading for best adhesion. Formulated to cure at temperatures
> 16°C and needs only the addition of catalyst prior to use. Medium activity methylethyl
ketone peroxide (MEKP) is the recommended catalyst at an addition level of 2% by weight to
ensure sufficient cure at room temperature. For best results it should be applied on to a clean
polished mould in one layer of 375-500 pms (microns)/0.375-0.5mm or 460-610g per square
metre. Multiple coats are not recommended.

*Although this product is described as Clear, it is in fact translucent pink in colour, The term 'Clear' is a grp industry standard as it is an non pigmented material, This does not create a completely translucent or water clear effect.*
